A website that compiled plenty of great web development and design tools available right now, to make designers' and developers' life easier.
This is my coding challenge project while I self-learn HTML & CSS.

I found that there is plenty of great web development and web design tools and resources available out there. No matter what you're trying to do, chances are there's a tool designed specifically to help you out. However most of us who first started in this field are not aware of these tools, so it is difficult for us to find and pick suitable resources.
​
Hence, I decided to build a website that compiles useful tools for designers and developers to make their work easier. Hope TOOLS will help you become more streamlined, inventive, and creative in your work.

INTERVIEW
To better understand the problem of newbie designers and developers, I interviewed 5 classmates from my postgraduate class, aged 23 to 31. The interview is semi-structured and all the questions are open-ended, this is to let the interviewees share more details on their design or coding routine, how they deal with getting suitable tools to help on their tasks, and how they wish they could save their favorite tools.

During the interview, I found out most of the interviewees do not have the habit to save the tools or websites that they're used during working. They will just search on Google again the next time when they needed. This causes them to use more time on completing the task as sometimes they can't get back the same tools that were used before. More often, they do not know what tools are available right now so they are still doing research from the sketch.
PROJECT SCOPE
During the interview, I've asked the interviewees what kind of tools they needed most and I've summarized it into six categories. Then I've searched all over the internet to get the most popular used tools/website based on these six categories.
